The Next 100 Years Exhibtion 2016
The concept for the `Next 100 years Pavillon´ is derived from the circular form of the BMW Logo. By rotation and forward movement of the circle, a spiral line is generated, that defines the shape of the building. The spiral indicates growth processes in nature and symbolizes the continuos development and evolution of BMW. The rings of the spiral are deformed to generate horizontal planes to become the floor and roof elements. The lateral segments are used for media projections, that support the product presentations on the central bridge.
