The stage formed a podium for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Jewish Museum in Berlin. The former flower market hall opposite the museum, that will house the Academy of the Jewish Museum designed by Daniel Libeskind, was chosen for the venue. We positioned the stage between the audience and the entrance to the Academy and opened the view to Daniel Libeskind's `cubes´ that were under construction. The construction of the new Academy thus became an integral part of the stage design. The stage appeared as a window that opened up a view of the future - and at the same time made it possible to look back: During the celebration, images of exhibitions and events from the past ten years were projected onto the dynamic triangular surfaces of the stage.
